Qualifying Reports
I am a certified professional geologist (C.P.G., P. Geo.) and am a qualified person (QP) as defined by Canadian Exchange rules 43-101. I am working on or have completed four 43-101 reports for Canadian listed junior exploration companies working in Alaska.
Property evaluations
If you need an independent look at a property submittal in Alaska, my transportation costs within the state are quite reasonable and I have a seen enough to be able to give you a quick opinion one way or the other. This is especially useful to out-of-state mining companies or investors.
Contract services
I will work as an independent contractor with larger exploration groups. I can supply my own field equipment, GPS, computer and software to work with your data storage and collection requirements. I am an experienced field geologist with a safe working record. I am MSHA certified for surface and underground mining operations.
Core logging/mapping
Integrate drill hole data and core photographs into Gemcom, or surface geology into MapInfo with digitized lithology, alteration, structure mapping.
Claim Staking
I have two options for clients wishing to acquire ground in Alaska. For small areas that are relatively flat, I can airborne stake from my plane or during wintertime if snow cover and terrain permitting I can land and ground stake relatively easily i.e. inexpensively. For larger land packages, in steep topography it is generally easier and quicker to use a helicopter. In either case, my rates are very competitive.
GIS services
I use MapInfo with Encom’s Discover add-on program. I try to maintain in MapInfo format all the public geology/mineral exploration data including USGS NURE geochemical data, AK state geophysical surveys, land-status maps. Usually for USGS geology maps I reattribute geology polygons by combining datasets into a single MapInfo table. I also make sure labeling and colors conform to the original hard-copy maps. My GIS data is therefore not simply an import of existing data. It is available for purchase.
Gemcom
I am a proficient Gemcom user and use current software (advanced exploration and volumetric modeling). I can compile existing data into Gemcom, prepare 3D models for exploration targeting and do some preliminary but non-stock exchange acceptable resource modeling.
